Day 01 – 21 Dec 2017: Arrived at Kathmandu valley
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuwan International Airport, we will receive you with private vehicle and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu within B/B plan. Our representative will give you information about further programs.
Day 2 – 22 Dec 2017: World Heritage Tour – Listed by UNESCO, 6 hrs
At morning, our professional tour guide will pick up you at hotel and escort to the city. He will guide you through the Heritage Sites OF Kathmandu valley listed by UNESCO. An easy, relaxing day in a comfortable ride with a local guide will uncover totally different perspective of Kathmandu.
Swayambhunath Stupa : This is one of the world’s most glorious Buddhist Stupa and is said to be 2,000 years old. Painted on the four sides of the spire’s base are the all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. Swayambhunath is situated in a hillock about 77m above the level of the Kathmandu Valley and hence commands an excellent view of the valley.
Kathmandu Durbar Square : It is the historic seat of royalty. The Durbar Square, with its old temples and palaces, epitomizes the religious and cultural life of the people. Interesting things to see here are the Taleju Temple, Temple of Kalbhairav, Nine storied old Palace and the Temple of Kumari (Living Goddess).
Pashupatinath Temple : Pashupatinath, the temple of Lord Shiva, with two tiered golden roof and silver door is considered one of the holiest shrines for Hindus. Although only Hindus are allowed inside the temple, visitors can clearly see the temple and the activities performed in the temple premises from the eastern bank of the Bagmati River.
Boudhanath stupa : The Stupa of Boudhanath lies 8 km east of Kathmandu. This ancient colossal Stupa is one of the biggest in the world, and the centre of Tibetan Buddhism in the world. Evening: Transfer back to the hotel.
Day 3 – 23 Dec 2017: Patan city – Bhaktapur City Tour and Nagarkot hill (overnight)
After breakfast, we will drive for our day tour. Here are the places to cover for day tours.
Patan city is an old name of the city of Lalitpur. It was a historical city founded probably in the 3rd century BS. The ancient city is located on the southern bank of the holy Bagmati River and is approximately five kilometers south-east of the capital. It is famous for the Durbar Square including the famous old and other beautiful stone architectural structure stone temple of Lord Krishna with its intricate stone and bronze carvings are two other masterpieces in the same vicinity. Patan is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and features its own royal palace with its golden door and window. The important things to be seen in patan include the beautiful piece of traditional metal crafts, the famed Krishna temple with 21 golden pinnacles, the Royal bath of Sundarichowk, a perfect piece of the classic work in stone. You will also be surprised by the number of temples, variation in landscapes and diversity of people living in harmony.
Bhaktapur city : Bhaktapur (recognize as a city of devotees), which is 17 km far (One hour drive by private car) from Kathmandu. Bhaktapur covers an area of four square miles. Bhaktapur (city of devotees) still retains a medieval charm and visitors to this ancient town are treated to numerous wonders of cultural and artistic achievements. The past glory of the Malla rules continues to be reflected at the Durbar Square. Pottery and waving are its traditional industries. Bhaktapur is famous for woodcarving and the traditional topi (cap). The city located about 14 km east of Kathmandu. The places of interest include Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the National Art Gallery, Nyatapola Temple, Bhairavnath Temple, Dattatreya Temple and Dattatreya Square. Bhaktapur Durbar Square contains innumerable temples and other architectural showpieces such as lion gate, the golden gate, the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla.
Palace of 55 Windows Being built by King Yaksha Mall in 1427 A.D. and remodeled by King Bhupatindra Malla in 17th Century, the balcony and the windows are intricately carved is a masterpiece of wood carving.
Nyatapola Temple This five storied Pagoda Style temple was built by King Bhupatindra Malla in 1708 A.D. well known for its massive structure and subtle workmanship. It is the tallest pagoda structure in the Kathmandu valley.
Nagarkot hill station: Nagarkot is a popular tourist destination of Nepal. It is situated 32km east of Kathmandu at an altitude of 2,175m. The panorama of the major mountain peaks of the eastern Nepal Himalaya including Mount Everest can be seen from here. We stay overnight in Nagarkot and enjoy the sunset view in the evening. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 4 – 24 Dec 2017:Drive to Rafting and Chitwan National Parks.7/8 hours
After breakfast, we drive to Rafting starting point (Charaundi) takes about 3 hours roughly. Rafting program will be about 3 hours in Trisuli River. After concluding rafting trip, It is 2/3 hours further drive to reach Sauraha (Chitwan) and transfer to the Resort. Lunch will be served in Rafting ending point. At evening time, Christmas Eve celebration in Sauraha, Slide show about wild life and Dinner program.
Day 5 – 25 Dec 2017:Full day Jungle activities programs in National Park.
Early morning, we exchange greetings of Merry Christmas. After breakfast: our activities start from Canoe trip by a Nature Walk Program or visit to the Elephant breeding center. After Lunch: Bathing with Elephant in the Rapti River, Elephant back safari. After Dinner: Tharu dancing performance.
Day 6 – 26 Dec 2017:Jungle activities and drive to Pokhara. 6 hours
Early morning: Jungle excursion on an elephant and bird watching Program. After breakfast: Drive to Pokhara takes about 4/5 hours. Transfer to the Hotel.
Pokhara is a resort of remarkable beauty. The serenity of Phewa Lake and the magnificent summit of Machhapurhre rising behind create an ambiance of peace and magic. The valley surrounding Pokhara is home to thick forests, gushing rivers, clear lakes and the world famous views of the Himalaya.
Day 7 – 27 Dec 2017:Drive to Nayapul and trek to Thikhedungha (1,530 m / 5,003 ft). 4 hours
After breakfast, Drive to Nayapul takes about 2 hours. Meet with porters and pack the luggage and start trekking. We walk through lush green Burungdi river valley and beautiful villages. It takes about 3/4 hours gentle walk from Birethati to reach Tikhedunga. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 8 – 28 Dec 2017:Trek to upper Ghorepani village (2870 m / 9,385 ft). 5 hours
At beginning, we have to walk steep up about 2 hours to reach Ulleri (2010m)which can be bit challenging and adventurous. Then the trail continues to ascend more gently, through the fine forests of oak and rhododendron up to Ghorepani. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 9 – 29 Dec 2017:Get Sunrise from Poonhill. Trek Tadapani (2,540m / 8,306 ft), 7 hours
We get up early morning and hiking up to Poon Hill(3210m) takes about one hour. From here you can see superb view of sunrise and beautiful panoramic views of Mt. Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, fishtail and many more. Then descend to Ghorepani. After breakfast: continue trek to Tadapani village. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 10 – 30 Dec 2017:Trek to Ghandruk village (1990 m / 6,507 ft), 3 hours
This day, we descend steeply through green forests then gentle walk on easy trails up to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a beautiful village of Gurung people, ethnic group of Nepal who have their own culture and language. We can find more information of their ancient lifestyle and customs in the museum. From here, one can see stunning views of Hiunchuli, Gangapurna and Fishtail and this village is major tourist destination of Nepal. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 11 – 31 Dec 2017:Trek back to Pokhara Fewa lake side, 6 hours. New Year Eve Celebration
Today, we easy walking down to Nayapul takes about 3/4 hours. We walk through some village and beautiful Modi river valley. Then catch our transport at Nayapul then drive back to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel and Celebrate a New Year Eve.
Day 12 – 01 January 2018:New Year celebration in Pokhara
Free for New Year celebration program. Street festival event will be organized in Lakeside Pokhara so everybody can enjoy the festival.
Day 13 – 02 January 2018:Drive back to Kathmandu.7/8 hours.
After breakfast, transfer back to Kathmandu on luxury tourist coach or private vehicle (have in mind private vehicle will applicable if you are 10 guest) which takes about 7 drive. Transfer to the Hotel. Afternoon is free.
Day 14 – 03 January 2018:Final departure day
Drop you in Kathmandu International Airport onward your final destination and our trip ends. Wish you your wonderful journey!!!
