Gosaikunda lauribinala pass treks begins after a long drive from Kathmandu to Dunche Bazzar. Gosaikunda lake to Luribina la pass than to helambu trek you ascend through the forests and along with the Sherpa villages and farmlands of the people. Many villagers are originally from Tibet over the last centuries. Gosaikunda Lake has a black stone rock in the middle, said to be the head of lord Shiva according to legend. Further more, there are 108 different lakes of its surrounding but you can touch some of the beautiful lakes on your walks towards suryakunda pass which is also a great viewpoint to see the tallest mountains and great landscapes. Lauribina la hill top is great to observe Langtang Himalayas of Langtang Lirung (7246m/23,694 ft), Gang Chhenpo (6388m/20,889 ft), Naya Kangri (5846m/19,116 ft), Dorje Lakpa (6966m/22,779 ft), Yala peak (5732m/18,744ft), Nayakang peak (5844m /19,110 ft) & several other snow capped Mountains in a range and as well as mystical landscapes.
Receive you in Kathmandu international airport. Then transfer to hotel by private car. If you have time, just couple of hrs time sightseeing around downtown Thamel.Day 2 Drive to Dunche Bazaar (1,966m/6,429 ft), 7 hrs drive.
Lunch at Trishuli this morning we’ll drive on a northern highway that twists and climbs over mountain ridges to the Trishuli valley for lunch and on to Syabru village for the overnight. The journey will take 8-9 hours through picturesque landscapes, mountain scenery and local villages. From Syabru we’ll have magnificent views of Mt. Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and Mt Kerung of Tibet. We’ll relax tonight at a local Guest house.Day 3 Trek to Singgompa or Chandan Bari (3330 m/10,889 ft) 5 hrs., 6 hrs
Its a tough day to walk into the forest all the way ascend to Sing Gompa. The view of mountain will be wider day by day. We will see Langtang range, Ganesh himal, Tibetan Monastery, once we reach at Sing Gompa. We walk through forest of oak, hemlock and firs. We also will visit local cheese factory there. We stay there for overnight at lodge.Day 4 Trek from Sing Gompa to Gosainkunda Lake (4330m/14,160 ft) 5 hrs.
At the first part, you might trek through the forest until you reach to Cholang Pati. The trail from here over Lauri Binayak until Gosaikunda is normally not an easy ascends. From the top of the Lauribinayak hill to Gosaikunda offer very good trails as it is wider as well as change in vegetation too as the green vegetation becomes much deserted and rocky. From lauri Binayak takes about 2:30 hours to reach to Gosainkunda lake. After lunch, you will hike around Gosaikunda to visit some beautiful pristine lakes and return to hotel for stay overnight.Day 5 Trek to Gosainkund (4300m/14061ft), 3 hours.
A steep rugged trail but adequately compensated by dramatic views of Himal Chuli, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and possibly Annapurna Range in the west; the beautiful valley of Langtang Lirung in the north. Passing a few huts in the high pasture of Lauribina and crossing a small ridge, have the first look of about a dozen holy lakes; Saraswotikund, Bhairavkund and Gosaikund are the main holy lakes among them. After Lunch at Gosaikunda, hike around the beautiful lakes as you wish. Stay overnight at guest house.Day 6 Trek to Thade Pati (3,600m/11,772ft.) via Gopte Vir(3440m/11,249ft), 8 hours.
The trail leads to the northern side of Gosainkunda Lake, crosses a moraine, passing three more small lakes; you will reach Laurebina La (4610m/15,075ft). The trail descends to a National Park Post at Bhera Goth (4240m/13,865ft) and to Phedi (3740m/12,230ft). From Phedi the route drops and climbs through scrub bamboo to Dupichaur (3630m/11,870ft) and descends finally to Ghopte Vir. Continue the trek further to Thade Pati hill station along a ridge to the tree line.Day 7 Trek from Thade Pati to Kutumsang (2468m/8,070ft.), 6 hours.
Drop steadily all day through Fir and Rhododendron forests and Prickly leafed oak forest enjoying the excellent views of the mountains, the Helambu valley and reach Kutumsang for a stay overnight.Day 8 Trek from Kutumsang to Chisapani (2194m/7,174ft.) hill, 6:30 hours.
Trek within gentle ups and downs following a ridge to reach Chisopani hill station with an excellent views of Mount Manaslu, Mount Ganesh Himal and more than a dot of Mount Everest.Day 9 Trek to Sundarijal Bazzar. Return to Kathmandu, 4 hours.
Climb to the small pass at Burlang Bhanjyang and take a last look at the great line of the snow peaks of the Himalaya before descending to Sundarijal Bazzar. From here we take a vehicle to return Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, you can do for shopping or visit some heritage sites of Kathmandu.Day 10 Departure day or request to extend your holidays.
After breakfast, we drop you to the international airport for your return flight however if you have some days time, you might request us to extend your holidays.
