Receive you in Kathmandu international airport. Then transfer to hotel by private car. If you have time, just couple of hrs time sightseeing around downtown Thamel.Day 2 Drive to Nayapool.Trek to Birethanti (1,100m/3597ft) 7 hours by tourist bus
Our guide will come to your hotel in the morning to pick you than we drive to Nayapool by Luxury Tourist Bus without stopping in Pokhara. Along the journey you will witness some stunning scenery of snow capped Mountains, green hills and terraced rivers in rafting, and villages. As you arrived in Nayapool, walk about thirty minutes to reach Birethanti Bazzar where we stop to stay overnights on Modi River Banks. Birethanti is a large village with many shops and tea houses inhabitant of Gurung, Magar and Thakali.Day 3 Trek to upper Ghorepani village (2860m / 9,352 ft), 7 hours
After breakfast, trail continues following the north bank of the Bhurundi Khola through villages and climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hile village (1,495m) and after the short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga (1570m). Than our journey with a steep ascend to large Magar village at Ulleri (2070m) after crossing suspension bridge. Then the trail leads us continue to ascend more gently, through dense forests of oak and rhododendrons towards Banthanti (2,250m). Occasionally, we can see rhesus monkey (long tail black mouth Monkey) jumping on the tree. Then we trek towards upper Ghorepani village. Stay overnight at lodge.Day 4 Hike to Poon Hill (3210m/10,497ft). Trek to Swata (2270m/7,423ft), 7 hours
An early morning start to reach at Poon Hill view point, for striking views of sunrise over chain of peaks includes world 7th highest Dhaulagiri-10th highest Annapurna with range of peaks including world 8th highest Manaslu with majestic Machhapuchare peak “Fish Tail”. After sunrise over the Annapurna range, descend downhill to get Ghorepani, and then continue walk downhill again to Chitre village, from here our route heads north away from the main popular route to reach Swata for overnight stop, a nice farm village with grand views of Dhaulagiri mountain range.Day 5 Trek to Shistibung (3,000m/9,810ft), 5 hrs
After breakfast in the morning, our journey starts through the farm fields and scattered villages, leading into lovely rhododendron and bamboo forest, then a climb into woodlands following the route to Khair or Khayar ridge, with an uphill through meadow and summer pastures to Shistibung for overnight stop, a, a small place of few huts serving as tea-houses.Day 6 Trek to Khayar or Kopra Ridge (3,870m/12,655ft), 5 hrs
Morning walk for few hours leading to our destination at Kopra ridge, from here on gaining altitude after leaving the tree lines for short alpine bushes and shrubs. If you are lucky you see some wildlife like Himalayan Thar, Blue sheep, Danphe Pheasant (National Bird of Nepal). Further two hours of good climb brings at overnight stop at Kopra ridge, a scenic spot with amazing views of surrounding landscapes and Mt. Dhaulagiri massive range, Vara-Shikar (Annapurna Fang), Annapurna South which towers from this wonderful spot.Day 7 Day hike to holy Khayar lake (4247m/13,888ft).
A great spot for rest day and excursion to get holy Khayar Lake which is located at an altitude of 4,247 m. It is long and tough hike and worth the views, a holy site with religious festival held annually around the month of August and September. The locals from surrounding area visit on pilgrimage to offer prayers and dip in the lake to have a ritual baths.Day 8 Trek to Dobato (3,420m/11,183ft), 6 hrs
After an enjoyable time at Kopra ridge & holy Khair Lake, morning walk with downhill past grazing lands to reach back into tree lines and to our overnight stop at Dobato, a summer pasture a grazing land with super views of Annapurna and Mt. fishtail which we used to call as a Machhapuchare.Day 9 Trek to Ghandruk (1940m/6,344ft) via Tadapani, 7 hours
Now the journey leads downhill to join the main popular trekking trail to Ghandruk at Tadapani village, starting with moderate gradual walk and downhill to Tadapani within thick alpine forest, with views of mountains; after Tadapani downhill to Ghandruk village for overnight stop after walking past Tadapani village on the mainstream trekking trail. Furthermore, Ghandruk, a large Gurung settlements the men folk of this area have hundred years of tradition supplying some of the world finest soldiers in Gorkha Regiment to both British and Indian military forces. Besides being solider they are traditional farmers and cattle herders of Buddhism religion and as well practice ancient Bon culture. Ghandruk offers comfort and nice lodges with great Mountain views. If you have time, just visit the local Gurung Museum to observe Gurung history, art, cultures and their lifestyles.Day 10 Trek to Nayapul. Drive to Pokhara (900m/2943ft), 7 hrs
After breakfast, we descend down to Syauli Bazaar via stone steps. We walk continue until Nayapul. And we complete our trekking tours in Nayapul, short and easy walking through the terraces hill settlement and villages. Then drive 1: 30 hrs driving by private vehicle followed by a ride back to Pokhara, a peaceful lakeside city harboring a unique setting of tropical climate and vegetation with the dramatic backdrop of the Himalayas. Stay overnight at Pokhara Hotel.Day 11 Explore day around Pokhara valley: Full day sightseeing
After late breakfast, we start our sightseeing to explore Pokhara city. The worth able places such as Fewa Lake, Devi’s Fall, Bishwa Shanti Stupa (World Peace Stupa) or Seti George, International Mountain Museum, Tibetan refugee settlement and Gupteshower Cave. Rest of the time, you can either take a relax at our hotel or visit the markets for shopping. Overnight at hotelDay 12 Fly / or drive to Kathmandu. Or extend your trip on request.
We will drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus through the road passing terraces, streams, rivers, local settlements, high hills and along the riverside. If you are interested to fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu with extra cost (USD: 90 each person) for fly ticket. 20 minutes flight journey offers a spectacular of Annapurna Himalayas inclusive Mt. Fishtail, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu, high hills, terraces, local settlements, and forests.
