Everest panorama trekking detail itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Kathmandu (1348m/4,408ft)

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan international airport our representative welcomes you and assists to transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu. After time to get refreshed, and briefing about your trip. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2 Early fly to Lukla (2,860m/9,352ft). Trek to Tok Tok (2,660m/8,697 ft.), 4 hours

We take an early scenic flight from Kathmandu to Tenjin Hillary airport of Lukla. Upon arrival at Lukla, we will have breakfast and then start our trek to Tok Tok village (2660m.). We trek following a gentle climb up the mountainside on the bank of the Dudh Koshi. In the late afternoon, we reach Tok Tok village where we stay overnight in lodge.

Day 3 Trek from Tok Tok to Namche Bazaar (3440m /11,249ft.), 5 hours

We walk along the bank of Dudh Koshi river, Thamserku is standing majestically skyward on the opposite bank, we then reach Benkar. We continue along the trail with many ups and downs; cross a stream, and pass by the tiny village Monjo. We then come to Sagarmatha National Park Service where a park entrance fee is to pay.

We follow a short walk along the Hillary bridges were the two rivers Dudh Koshi to the right Bhote Koshi to the left meets together. Now we cross Hillary bridge than steep ascent all the way up to Namche Bazaar. On the way, we would have an excellent view of Mount Everest (8,848m) and Lhotse (8,516m.). Namche Bazaar is a central hub of the area for food, trekking gears, and other necessary goods. Afternoon, Visit National park Museum just above the town that exhibits Sherpa culture for an optional excursion.

Day 4 Discovering Syangeboche hill than to Khumjung village.

Trek to Khumjung village passing Syangeboche hill station to enjoy the splendid view of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse, Tawche, Kwangde and many other snow capped mountains within 360 deg angle. Descend to a sandy flat valley to Khumjung village. Visit monastery where you can see ancient art and paintings.

Day 5Downhill walking to Monjo passing Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,249ft)

Mostly downhill walking today it will take you 6 to 7 hours roughly. There is a steep climb for about an hour before you encounter the scenic walk back into Namche Bazaar. Walk all the way downhill to get Namche Bazaar. After Lunch in Namche, we descend downhill all the way to get Monjo village. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 6Trek to Lukla (2860m/9,352ft.) Bazaar, 5 hours

It is the last day of our trek. Lunch will be served on the way. Upon arrival at Lukla Bazaar, we would get refreshed and take rest.

Day 7Lukla to Kathmandu flight

We board an early flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at TIA, we would be received by our representatives and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, guided trip to world heritage sites tour in Kathmandu valley. Sightseeing covers a Hindu’s pilgrimage sites Pashupatinath temple, the world biggest Boudhanath Stupa, visit Swayambhunath Stupa also known as monkey temple and historical Kathmandu Durbar Square with the temple, unique architectures and Kumari (living goddess) in central Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.

Day 9Final departure day.

Transfer to international airport for your final destination and wish to you pleasant journey

Equipment checklist

The following listed equipment is suggested and essential for Tea house trekking and camping trekking in the Nepal Himalaya. Make sure that below list as a guideline proposal. Some of the Trekking equipment can be hired or bought in the many adventure shops in Kathmandu.

The following basic equipment checklists should help you with your packing. Please remember that you should always try to keep the weight of your equipment to a minimum. At the start of the trek, your packed trek bag should weigh no more than 33 pounds or 15 kg.


  • Sun hat or scarf
  • Light balaclava or warm fleece hat
  • Sunglasses with UV protection

Upper Body:

  • T-shirts (2)
  • Light and expedition weight thermal tops

  • Sleeping bag rated to zero degrees
  • Headlamp (e.g. Petzl Zoom) with spare bulbs and batteries
