Annapurna short trekking Detail itinerary

Day 1 Arrived at Kathmandu valley

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuwan International Airport, we will receive you with private vehicle and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu within Bed with breakfast plan. Our representative will give you information about further programs.

Day 2 Drive to Pokhara city. Transfer to Hotel 6 hrs

At morning, our trekking staffs will pick up you at hotel and escort to the bus station. You will drive by the beautiful rivers Trisuli and Marsyangdi which is very popular for rafting as well. Pokhara is very popular for the panoramic view of the majestic Himalayas such as Annapurna, Machapuchare in the north, Dhaulagiri in the west, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu in the east. Stay overnight in Hotel.

Day 3 Trek to Dhampus village than to Australian Camp (1,990m/6,507 ft), 5 hours

After breakfast, scenic drive about 30 minutes to reach Dhampus phedi. Phedi is a gateway to discover Annapurna Himalayas. From Phedi, we conduct our journey to Australian camp passing by Dhampus village. We trek through the cultivated terraces and mixed ethnic groups. Than we ascend through the rhododendron forest which is stiff but the mountain views makes us more energetic to reach the top. The Australian Camp (1990m) recognize as a hill station which is the best place to see the best view of Annapurna family, Dhaulagiri family and holy mountain Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail), etc. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 4Trek to Sarangkot (1,600m/5,232 ft) 6 hrs

The trail leads to Sarangkot, we walk through the forestry slightly descend trail to the Naudanda. Then the trail goes further over an easy highway with various ethnic groups settlement, we reach at Sarangkot hill. Sarangkot is one of the top most famous hill stations to see the Annapurna Himalayan renege especially in evening sunset and morning time when Sun is rising. Annapurna range (Dhaulagiri on the left side to Manaslu on the right side including all Annapurna Mountains with Holy Mountain Fish Tail can be seen in one panorama within clear weather. On the southern direction, the village overlooks the city of Pokhara and its lake on the north-western outskirts of the city. And during the night, you can see the beautiful lights of Pokhara city.

Day 5Morning Sunrise view ! Descend down to Pokhara city

At the morning, you will have a great sunrise view over the Annapurna massive. The vista is beautiful to the both of side; the right side offers edge of Pokhara valley, Fewa Lake is remarkable with a Temple Island and hillside field terrace painting by vegetation. The view of snow-capped mountains is fantastic and the view of Pokhara valley also Splendor. Than descend down to Pokhara and afternoon get the flight to Kathmandu.

Day 6Final departure day

Drop you in Kathmandu International Airport onward your final destination and our trip ends. Wish you your wonderful journey!!!

Equipment checklist

The following listed equipment is suggested and essential for Tea house trekking and camping trekking in the Nepal Himalaya. Make sure that below list as a guideline proposal. Some of the Trekking equipment can be hired or bought in the many adventure shops in Kathmandu.

The following basic equipment checklists should help you with your packing. Please remember that you should always try to keep the weight of your equipment to a minimum. At the start of the trek, your packed trek bag should weigh no more than 33 pounds or 15 kg.


  • Sun hat or scarf
  • Light balaclava or warm fleece hat
  • Sunglasses with UV protection

Upper Body:
