Annapurna panorama trek detail itinerary

Day 1Arrival day Kathmandu

Receive you in Kathmandu international airport. Then transfer to hotel by private car. If you have time, just couple of hrs time sightseeing around downtown Thamel.

Day 2 Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara city. Transfer to hotel. 6 hours

At morning time, one of our trekking staffs will pick up you at hotel and escort to the bus station. You will drive by the beautiful rivers Trisuli and marsyangdi which is very popular for rafting as well. Pokhara is very popular for the panoramic view of majestic Himalayas such as Annapurna, Machhapuchhre in the north, Dhaulagiri in the west, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu in the east. Roughly about 6 hours driving, you will get Phewa lake side of Pokhara city. Pokahara is a beautiful city of lakes, caves,Buddhist and Hindus temples. You can enjoy your evening wandering on lake sides. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 3 Drive from Kathmandu to Nayapul then trek to Hile (1,490m.), 4 hours

From Pokhara to Nayapul, it takes about 1 ½ hrs driving by private car. The road is reasonably good. At the place of Nayapul, within short walk, one can cross suspension bridge. After that, follows up bank of Modi River to Birethanti. From there mountain trail leads through bamboo forest and passes a large waterfall-summing hole. The trail stays on the north bank of Bhurundi Khola to Bajagara. Beyond a pasture used by Pony caravans, the trail reaches Sudame then climbs steadily up through the valley reaching Hile (1490m). Stay overnight at guest House.

Day 4 Trek from Hile to Ghorepani (2,860m.) 6 hours

From Hile village, after a short walk the trail crosses a steam on suspension bridge and leads the climb very steeply on a stone staircase. It leads continuously steep to the large village of Ulleri at 2,070m. From there one can see first eye catching mountain views of Annapurna south (7,219m), Himchuli (6,440m) and Fishtail (6,996m). After that, the trail leads through deep magnificent oak and Rhododendron forest up to Ghorepani (2860m). Stay overnight at guest House.

Day 5 Trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani (2,590m.), 6 hours

Early morning, hike to Poonhill (3210m), the trail leads climbing very steeply on a stone staircase and takes about eighty minutes to get hill station. From the Poonhill top, you can see the Sunrise view over the breathe taking mountains within in 180 deg angle Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Annapurna III, Fishtail, and Annapurna IV and so on from left to right accordingly. After Poonhill, ascends to Ghorepani and walk to Tadapani (2670m) village. The journey leads several ascending and descending, passing some tiny villages through oak and Rhododendron forest. Stay overnight at guest House.

Day 6 Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk (1,940m.), 3 hours

Todays trek normally much easier comparing in last days. However the trail leads to Ghandruk from Tadapani all the way of descends and flat through the oak and Rhododendron Forest. Ghandruk Gurung village is famous for Gurung Culture and their handicraft. You might seen the stunning view of Annapurna south, Hiunchuli, Annapurna 3rd and as well as Fishtail. During the afternoon, you might visit the Gurung Museum. Stay overnight at guest House.

Day 7 Trek from Ghandrung to Nayapul (1070m.). Then drive to Pokhara

The trek leads almost descending and flat through the bank of Modi River and passes several villages such as Kimle, Shyauli Bazzar, and Birethani and comes Nayapul and it takes roughly about 5 hours, where our private transfer car is waiting. You might also take a bus ride from Kyumi to Nayapool to skip some parts but the transportation cost is an extra. After Nayapul drive back to Pokhara by private transfer which takes about 90 minutes roughly. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 8 Fly to Kathmandu or extend your trip on request.

After breakfast start sightseeing at Pokhara city like boating on Fewa lake to visit an island of Tal Barahi temple, Devi’s fall, Gupteswor mahadev cave and Tibetan refugee camp. Return to hotel and in the afternoon fly back to Kathmandu. However if you dont wish to extend your trip than drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. Transfer to hotel for stay overnight. Trip finish or request us for extension your holidays.

Equipment checklist

The following listed equipment is suggested and essential for Tea house trekking and camping trekking in the Nepal Himalaya. Make sure that below list as a guideline proposal. Some of the Trekking equipment can be hired or bought in the many adventure shops in Kathmandu.

The following basic equipment checklists should help you with your packing. Please remember that you should always try to keep the weight of your equipment to a minimum. At the start of the trek, your packed trek bag should weigh no more than 33 pounds or 15 kg.


  • Sun hat or scarf
  • Light balaclava or warm fleece hat
  • Sunglasses with UV protection

Upper Body:

  • T-shirts (2)
  • Light and expedition weight thermal tops
